After being investigated in December of last season Ohio State star QB Terrell Pryor has decided to forgo another season as a college QB and try his hand in the NFL.
Pryor and 5 other of his teammates were found guilty of trading in memorabilia for money and discount tattoos. This was clearly a violation of NCAA rules. As a result, Pryor and his teammates were suspended for the first 5 to 6 games of the 2011 season as a punishment. This number could also increase if any further information is revealed about the situation.
Due to the suspension, Pryor would have less than half of a season to try to improve his draft stock for the 2012. Even though his character traits are severely tarnished, I would imagine that he will do well either with trying to enter the NFL via free agency or the 2012 draft.
