New Artist Spotlight: SHAY WILL
SHAY WILL takes us back to 1994 with his themed debut mixtape JUICE: “The Coolest Shit I ever wrote”, for those that are fans of the movie and 90’s hip-hop you will really enjoy this mixtape. For his first mixtape SHAY gives upbeat songs like “Cash Flow” and “Fly N***z Only ft. Kwame Starks” and then he mellow it out with tracks for the ladies with songs like “U Don’t Gotta Front ft. Theydon”, overall this a very DOPE mixtape! One cool thing about SHAY is personally did the artwork for his mxtape, which is a very unique and gives you an ideal of some of the subject matter that is on the mixtape (Plus he showed the Rat Pack love on the artwork) Also a plus for my true Hip Hop fans out there, SHAY used some Classic J Dilla and Primo beats really made a solid mixtape that has a song for every mood, some of my personal favorite tracks are: Kickin Red Cups, Soul of Bishop, and Runnin Away.
