Give God Glory
Scripture I: “Hallelujah! It’s a good thing to sing praise to our God; praise is beautiful, praise is fitting.” (Psalm 147:1) MSG
Scripture II: “The Lord is my strength and song, and He has become my salvation; He is my God, and I will praise Him; my father’s God, and I will exalt Him.” (Exodus 15:2) NKJV
Lesson: A secretary, who had been especially busy, bowed her head at her desk and said, “God, I think the stapler is your greatest invention”. A good use of your time with God is to praise Him for everything. Praise God, who gives you all you have. A minister had just started his Sunday sermon when it started to thunder and lightning. Rain poured down in wild torrents. “God is wonderful!” He told the congregation. “While all of us are sitting here dry and comfortable, he’s out there in the parking lot washing our cars for us!” Find phrases for your praises. Create many varied ways to say thank-you to God. You can’t say enough praises to God.
Prayer: “Dear God, I raise to you for all you do for me and all you are to me. Amen.”
